Rice - Schlumberger Fellowships

Schlumberger LogoSchlumberger partnered with the Ken Kennedy Institute for Information Technology at Rice University to annually award two unique fellowships to well qualified graduate students in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science. Recognizing the importance of leadership Schlumberger have chosen to co-name each of the awards with student organizations, hence the ECE fellowship is known as the IEEE Student Chapter and Women Excel - Schlumberger Fellowship and the CS fellowships is known as the Computer Science Club and CSters - Schlumberger Fellowship. This program evolved over the years from an undergraduate supplemntal scholarship program to a graduate student supplemental fellowship program supporting talented students that exhibit leadership and research talent in their chosen field.
