Sheafor/Lindsay Fund

The Sheafor/Lindsay Innovation Fund primarily supports the Enriching Rice through Information Technology (ERIT) program which provides funding for Rice faculty and researchers to undertake new and innovative projects relying on information technology. The program's goal is to encourage new and far-reaching initiatives and innovative scholarly research ideas that reach beyond the traditional borders of science and engineering. The Sheafor/Lindsay Innovation Fund also supports programs such as the Digital Library Symposium, a national conference on the initiatives and implications of digital libraries.
